for this project we had to make two stamps. One had to be a signature stamp, and one had to be a texture stamp. For my signature stamp I did a flower, because I love flowers. For my texture stamp I did a checkered board.
pinch pot project.
for this project we had to make 3 or more pinch pots and make them into something. i made a flower pot with 3 big pinch pots, and one little pinch pot. after it was fired in the kiln, we had to glaze it. i chose to glaze it pink and blue.
coil pots pt.1
for this project, we had to make a pot out of coils. i decided to make little coils and shape them into circles. well this project dropped on the ground so i had to restart:)

slab project
for this project we had to make slabs out of clay and connect them. i decided to do a mountain with snow on top.
glaze transfer tile project
for this project we had to make a clay tile. we made a design that we wanted to transfer to the clay. we painted the glaze on and it came out like this. i also made a hat with a flower glaze transfer.
final project
for this project, i decided to create a guitar. i used to play guitar some when i was younger, and i want to start playing again. i'm making it out of clay slabs all put together. the strings that i used for this guitar are made out of white yarn.
tea for two
for this project we were having a tea party! we got to make two tea cups and saucers that go with it. i decided to make a flower themed one. the cup with the flower engraved in it goes with the leaf saucer. and the one with the leaf engraved in the cup, goes with the flower saucer. i also made a cookie plate with flowers and leaves on around it.
all about the food
for this project we had to make pottery that was inspired by our favorite foods. my favorite food is guacamole. i am going to make a dip bowl that looks like an avocado, a spoon that looks like the avocado seed, and a chip bowl with a fun design.
homemade clay
for this project we had to make our own clay from scratch. we are in quarantine so we can’t get the clay from our school, so i had to make my own. after the clay was made i decided to use food coloring to die it green, just to give it a little something extra. overall this process was very easy and came out pretty good.
under the sea
for this project we had to make something out of our homemade clay that represented “under the sea”. i decided to make a octopus. i shaped it and let it dry. after it was dry i painted it a dark green and the eyes silver.
emily’s under the sea project
for some reason her website would not let her upload. she used the same clay as me and decided to make a peice of seaweed.
tribal mask
for this project we had to make our own take on a tribal mask. i thought this project was fun. we got to design our masks how we wanted and i liked how mine turned out.
